Sustaining and Event  Sponsorship

The James River Green Building Council is seeking your support as an Annual Sponsor to help promote educational programs and membership growth within the organization as well as increase exposure for the companies that support us. The JRGBC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and all donations minus the value of any benefits associated with sponsorship are tax deductible.

Your company’s support will go toward furthering our mission of inspiring and promoting the transformation to a sustainable built environment.  By contributing to the JRGBC, you are showing your commitment toward sustainable building practices and education in the Central Virginia Region. Results achieved in 2011 with the help of you, our partners  include:

• Advanced green building policies and codes at the state and local level.
• Reached over 600 green building professionals and students via our conferences, seminars, workshops and green building tours.
•  Produced a Green Schools Video that promotes our vision of every child in a green school this generation.
• Developed local case studies that showcase strategies and technologies for designing and building healthier, more energy efficient buildings.
• Provided USGBC continuing education hours to maintain LEED Credentials
• Participated in multiple community events to educate the public about green building.

Just login to your JRGBC account and look under the “Payments” tab for the sponsorship you wish to purchase. Make sure to send in the form as well by e-mail to mail@jrgbc.org or fax to (804) 288-2551

We are also currently looking for Event Sponsors to support single event costs such as catering, marketing and facility rental.  You will be recognized at the sponsored meeting and in event promotion and offered a variety of other benefits.

You as an individual can also contribute to the JRGBC by making a tax-deductible donation. Your donations can help support our mission to make Virginia and its buildings a greener and healthier place to live and work. Make a small donation and you will receive an organic cotton, locally printed JRGBC t-shirt as a gift that shows the world that you support green building.
