JRGBC/ASHRAE Joint Meeting: How Commissioning Can Lead to Operational Excellence

Join the JRGBC and ASHRAE Richmond Chapter on February 6, 2012 at the Westwood Club for a lunchtime panel discussion with local commissioning authorities and LEED professionals from 11:30-12:45 pm.  This  program will be non-company specific with highly experienced professionals with a wealth of experience and knowledge on the subject. Panelists will discuss the integration of commissioning with the different LEED requirements, the changes that are occurring with LEED 2012, and how the commissioning process can optimize building performance from design to operation.

After this session attendees will:
1. Leave with a clear understanding of the value commissioning adds to a project.
2. Understand what time a commissioning authority should be brought onto a project.
3. Understand the commissioning process and requirements.
4. Understand the costs associated with commissioning and the time it takes to perform commissioning tasks.
5. Know the changes to the LEED commissioning requirements in the proposed 2012 rating system.
6. Know some of the issues commissioning authorities commonly face.

Pre-Registration for this event is required, and all proceeds will benefit the JRGBC and ASHRAE Richmond Chapter. The cost for this event is $20. This event will be held at the Westwood Club,  6200 West Club Lane (off West Broad Street near Horsepen Road).  Space is limited and very few walk-in registrants will be accepted, so please register by COB February 2nd.
